A popular Nigerian Blogger Maazitundednut and entertainer has sparked online reactions after he expresses frustration over how the wizkid fanbase “wizkidfc” overtook his voting poll. The blogger, who regularly asks his audience to vote on entertainment-related topics, complained that the outcome of his most recent poll was influenced heavily by biased fan behaviour.
In a social media statement, he revealed that whenever he posts anything that involves a davido superstar, the fans do not bother to read or understand the full context of the post. Instead, they automatically begin voting in favour of their favourite artist without watching the content with it properly.
According to him, many people in that fanbase do not even wait to view the full clip attached to the poll. They simply enter the poll, vote their artiste, and ensure he wins regardless of context, conversation, or competition. He jokingly compared the behaviour to a “pattern” that always changes the narrative of his polls.
Fans across comment sections have since reacted. Some agree with his complaints, as they note that the vote always appears one-sided, while others insist that loyalty is loyalty and that every artiste deserves supporters who ride for them no matter what.
